The VDIF has a video which shows the release of endangered mussel species. This was a collaborative effort and is very informative.They allowed children from Cleveland, VA elementary school to come down and help with the release. Allowing the youth to get involved will foster there interest and hopefully one day they will also have a desire to protect this wonderful asset.
Another video provided by the CRVI shows the many different assets of Southwest Virginia. The Clinch River runs through Southwest Virginia and is one of its greatest assets.
